Beautiful herbal hay from natural grassland in eastern Germany. Cut June 2023.
This hay is first cut and has been dried naturally ( in the field ).
Contains different types of grasses, herbs and leaves.
Attention* Unfortunately, the owner of our original premium grassland ( border Germany/France ) has died. After doing a search we have found a new grassland. This year's premium hay thus comes from a different area and contains different grasses than the known premium of previous years.
The hay is stored naturally at Happy Rabbits so that it retains its freshness and tastiness.
Every year we do our utmost to select beautiful meadows for a good harvest. Every meadow is different of course and every year is different. That is why there is always a great variety in the hay. This provides a natural and healthy variety.
Can be eaten by rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, degus, tortoises, horses, etc.
Arrival of hay: If you order the hay in a jute bag you may keep it there. If you order the hay in a plastic bag we would like to ask you to keep it out of the plastic packaging or leave the bag open.
Storage of hay: Preferably store the hay in a dark place, not too warm. This may also be outside under the condition that no sun and no moisture can reach. Please NEVER store hay in a plastic packaging this brings the quality down enormously. A cardboard box or an open container is allowed.
