  • This bedding is made of straw. It is dust-free and a medium-absorbent bedding = the pellets fall apart quickly once puddles or water is placed on them. Can be used as bedding and toilet bowl filling.

    1 bag = 20 kg

Happy rabbits tip. When used as bedding you can use a layer of barley straw as top layer.

The straw pellets may be used with rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, reptiles and horses.

ATTENTION. It is only possible to send 1 bag per package. If you order more than one bag, a shipping cost will be charged per bag. Pick up in Nijlen is possible, we can also deliver if you live on one of our delivery routes.

At Happy Rabbits and Friends you can find 3 types of pellet ground cover.

    • Straw pellets, are made of straw and are dust free and medium absorbent. The pellet is slightly softer than wood pellet.
    • Wood pellets, are made of tree species is dust free and absorbent. Fairly hard grain and not recommended to be used as complete ground cover. Very good as a toilet bowl filling.
    • Flax pellets are made of flax, dust free and very absorbent. In addition, flax pellet is also odourless and is well tolerated by people with allergies to bedding. Because of its hard structure, it is not recommended for use all over the ground. It is very good for use in toilet bowls.
